STATEMENT PIECES

My artwork draws inspiration from the natural beauty of the coast and hinterland, capturing a sense of serenity and the expansive scale of these landscapes. Working on a large scale—typically between 1 to 1.5 metres—I aim to create pieces that evoke a strong connection to the environment that inspires them. These works invite contemplation and offer a moment of stillness, whether they inhabit a personal space or a shared, commercial environment. Through depth, texture, and an appreciation for the rawness of nature, I hope to share an experience of the landscapes that resonate with me.

Postcard Series

My postcard series of 20x20cm paintings reflects the essence of the coast and hinterland that surround me. Each piece is a small yet meaningful snapshot of these landscapes, capturing the spirit and beauty of the region. These intimate works serve as personal keepsakes, evoking a connection to place and memory. Whether collected individually or displayed together, they offer a glimpse into the natural world that inspires my practice, bringing a touch of the coastal and hinterland landscapes into any space.
