TWEED VALLEY

This evolving TWEED VALLEY series of oil paintings began in 2017 and continues to grow, shaped by years of observation and countless photographs taken across the Tweed region. From the majestic form of Wollumbin to the tidal shifts along Cabarita Beach, these works reflect a deep connection to place—one that acknowledges change as a constant.
Each painting captures a moment in a landscape that never stays still. Storms reshape the coastline. Cyclones wear at the edges. Trees age, bend, and sometimes fall. The coastal dunes shift. Fields of sugar cane rise and fall with the rhythm of planting and harvest. Familiar landmarks remain, but the view is always slightly different.
These oil works are framed in natural oak, each one signed and unique. They are records of time and change—quiet, thoughtful reflections of a region in motion.
